Meet the Glazers (from L to R): Avram, Joel, Kevin, Bryan, Darcie and Edward

The parasitic Glazer family or, to be more precise, the parasitic patriarch of the Glazer family, Malcolm, bought Manchester United in 2005. He bought the club purely as a cash cow which he could milk as and when he pleased. This has now been the case for the last 15 years and has resulted in more than £1billion being taken out of the club.

The deal to buy United was advised by an investment banker working for JP Morgan called Ed Woodward. As everybody is now very well aware, his pound of flesh for brokering the deal, (on top of his very fat commission cheque), was to be given the job of CEO at Old Trafford which, on the retirement of David Gill, also saw him take over the role of “transfer guru“.

He is aided and abetted in this role by his partner-in-crime Matt Judge.

Now, the first thing to say is that, other than the money they can make, none of the previously mentioned people have any connection with, or interest in, Manchester United football club!

The Glazers, now based in Florida, are from New York. Woodward is from Chelmsford and very little is known regarding Matt judge other than to say that he and Woodward met while at Bristol university. So what could possibly be the attraction for any of these in getting involved with a football club, particularly when that club is in Manchester which, to most of these educated idiots, may as well be on another planet?

As we said earlier, money. Money is the answer to a lot of questions these days and the common factor with ALL of these people is the love of money and, as the saying goes, “the love of money is the root of all evil“.

Woodward and Judge split their time between United’s office in Manchester and the one in London. Why does a FOOTBALL CLUB from Manchester need an office in London?

The Glazer family members spend their time almost exclusively in Florida where they have ruined another sporting franchise the NFL team Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“The power” behind Manchester United! These two are why the club’s “power” is nowhere near where it used to be or should be

In fact, their collective interest in Manchester United was illustrated perfectly just recently when NOT ONE of them could be bothered to turn up at Old Trafford when the club played Wolverhampton Wanderers in the game closest to the anniversary of the Munich air disaster.

Not that long ago they even wanted to remove Sir Matt Busby’s staue from the ground for no given reason. It was only when they saw the massive negative reaction to this plan that they changed their minds.

Obviously none of the Glazers, being from New York, have any footballing background whatsoever. Woodward has no footballing background yet is in charge of transfers at one of the biggest clubs in the world! Judge, as far as we are aware, (and nothing he has done has proven anything to the contrary), has no footballing background yet he is “assisting” Woodward!

We can even go down the pecking order as far as the manager. Granted, he is at least an ex-player and a successful one at that. He is also a Manchester United ex-player which was a vital element in him being given the job. Yet his experience in football management at the top level is a big fat ZERO.

So the owners, who know nothing about football, basically hand over the running of a massive football club to two people who know nothing about football. They, in turn, appoint a manager who knows nothing about managing a big football club! What could possibly go wrong?

At the end of the day the blame for the team’s plight doesn’t lay entirely with Solskjær. What was he supposed to do? Turn the job down? The blame lies entirely with Woodward for appointing him and with the Glazers for appointing Woodward.

United fans express their appreciation of the Glazers

For now, the United fans just have to be content with the ongoing protests at games and with the boycotting of all goods sold by the club and hope that the sponsors start to feel the pinch sufficiently to withdraw their support for the club.

If, and when, that starts to happen then Manchester United may finally be able to rid itself of football’s ugliest family.
